Editing OLE objects (Windows)
You can edit an OLE object when the object is active. When you change a linked OLE object, other files linked to that object also change.
Note  For quick access to commands for an OLE object, right-click the object and choose a command from the shortcut menu.
When you work with an OLE object, the features and commands you use depend on the application that created the object. For more information, see the documentation that came with the application.
 
If the application that created the object opens a separate window, edit the object, update it, then exit from the application.

If the application replaces FileMaker Pro menu commands, edit the object, then click the layout outside the object.
To start editing quickly, do the following:

Because Play is the primary command for most applications that support sounds and movie clips, right-click the object and choose a command from the shortcut menu. Or, choose Edit menu > Object, then choose a command.
