Additional Ways to Import Information
In addition to the File > Import menu items, Bento provides the following ways to import information:

Choose File > New Library from Template to open the New Library dialog. Then click Import Data.
Note  If you’re importing a template that contains data from a synced library (such as Address Book or iCal), you can choose either to keep its data in a new Bento library, or merge it with data in Address Book and iCal on your Mac.

Drag a data file (Text, Numbers, Excel format) to the Libraries pane in Bento.
 •
Drag a data file (Text, Numbers, Excel format) to a specific library or collection in the Libraries pane in Bento.
 •
Drag a library template file or data file (Text, Numbers, Excel format) to the Bento application icon.
