Saving and reverting layout changesAs you design a layout in Layout mode, save your work early and often. Don’t wait until you finish working. If you want to throw away the changes you’ve made and start again, you can easily revert to the last-saved version of a layout.

• You can use the undo and redo features to incrementally remove or replace textual changes on layouts (such as changes to field labels). For text editing, the number of actions that can be undone or redone is limited only by the amount of available memory on your computer. For layout object additions and deletions, only the last action can be undone or redone.
• You can set an application preference to save your layout changes automatically when you leave Layout mode. For more information, see Setting layout preferences.
