No. A device can only sync with one Bento desktop. If you sync a second Bento desktop with your device, libraries from the first desktop are removed. To prevent data loss, avoid connecting to additional desktops.
When Bento for Mac starts, it reads the information from the Address Book application and displays that data in the Address Book library in Bento for Mac. Likewise, when Bento for iPhone starts, it reads the information from the iPhone Contacts app and displays the information in the Address Book library in Bento for iPhone. It’s important to remember that when you sync between Bento for Mac and Bento for iPhone, you are syncing only the information contained within them, not the Address Book application or Contacts app information.
Bento 4 for iPad does not sync with the Bento for Mac Address Book library. You can migrate the Bento for Mac Address Book library to a new Bento Contacts library, then sync with Bento 4 for iPad.
Media files in Bento for Mac that are larger than 10 megabytes or that cannot be opened or played on your device cannot be synced. Media files in Bento for iPad or Bento for iPhone that are larger than 10 megabytes can be synced with Bento for Mac.
If there is a data conflict, data in Bento for iPhone or Bento for iPad overwrites data in Bento for Mac. For example, you have John Smith’s phone number stored in both Bento products. You change his phone number to 555-1010 in Bento for Mac and 555-9090 in Bento for iPhone. When you sync, the phone number on your device overwrites the phone number on your computer.
The iCal Events and iPhoto libraries are not supported in Bento for iPhone. The iCal Tasks library is supported in Bento for iPhone after you sync with Bento for Mac.
