Radians

Converts angleInDegrees to radians.

Radians ( angleInDegrees )

Parameters 

angleInDegrees - any numeric expression or field containing a numeric expression, in degrees

Description 

The parameters for FileMaker Pro Advanced trigonometric functions must be expressed in radians. If the values you want to use as parameters in a trigonometric equation are in degrees, use this function to convert them to radians first. A degree is equal to Pi/180 radians.

Example 1 

Radians(45) returns .78539816....

Example 2 

Sin(Radians(30)) returns .5.
