Description
Worker Machine
The status pane shows information for each worker machine in your deployment.
In a single-machine deployment, the Web Publishing Engine is listed as a worker machine even though there is only one machine in the deployment.
In a multiple-machine deployment, the first worker machine listed is the Web Publishing Engine that is running on the master machine.
Click the switch to start or stop a worker machine. See Starting or stopping FileMaker Server components.
Click Trash/Remove menu for Activity Databases tab to remove a worker machine from your deployment.
Important  Do not remove a worker machine while clients are connected to that machine. Otherwise, the clients will be disconnected and they may lose unsaved work.

Host Name
The host name of this worker machine.
Number of Connections
The number of connections being managed by this worker machine.

Notes
You cannot remove the worker machine that is running on the master machine.
If you click Trash/Remove menu for Activity Databases tab to remove a worker machine that is unreachable due to a network communication issue, FileMaker Server will retry to establish communication with the worker machine three times. If the worker machine is still not reachable, FileMaker Server proceeds to remove the worker machine.
