Overview

FileMaker Go^® runs FileMaker solutions on iPad and iPhone so you can easily manage and share information with your team anywhere you go. Check inventory in the warehouse, create invoices during client visits, perform inspections onsite, and more.

Build solutions using FileMaker Pro. Then use FileMaker Go to work with the data on an iOS device. See Connecting to Solutions. For example, you can add, modify, delete, find, and sort records; display data in Form View, Table View, and List View; view information in portals, tab panels, slide panels, and web viewers; scan bar codes; and perform scripts and other tasks.

Launch Center

The Launch Center allows you to open recent, local, and remote solutions; manage hosts and files; transfer local solutions; and manage the keychain.

To display the Launch Center when you are viewing a file, tap Actions menu icon , then tap Launch Center Launch Center icon .

Tap	To
	View files as tiles.
	View files in a list.
	Delete, transfer, or copy files. In the Recent list, you can also mark a file to be displayed at the top of the list.
	Manage the keychain for protected files, view Help, register FileMaker Go, or view Welcome Tour.
	View the list of the files that were recently opened.
	View a list of the files that are on your device.
	View a list of the files on a remote host.

Menu bar

The menu bar is at the top of the window when you are viewing a file.

Tap	To
	Display the Launch Center, view Help, close a file, save or send data or PDFs, print and export records, select a layout, choose how to view records, run a script, or change settings.
Window title	Switch between windows, close a window, or open additional windows.
	Search for records or modify a find request.

Toolbar

The toolbar is at the bottom of the window when you are viewing a file.

Tap	To
or	Go to the previous or next record. You can also swipe left or right with two fingers to move between records in Form View.
	Show the total number of records, drag the slider to navigate through records, switch between showing records in the current found set and the omitted (hidden) records, and omit (hide) records.
(iPhone)	Add, delete, or duplicate a record; sort records; or delete found records.
(iPad)	Add or duplicate a record.
(iPad)	Delete a record or the found set of records.
(iPad)	Sort records.

Notes

To hide or show the menu bar and toolbar, use three fingers to swipe up or down.
