Saving, Sending, and Printing Records as PDFs
You can save, email, or print one or more records as a PDF file. The PDF is created based on the settings in the Print Setup dialog. See Printing Data.

View records as a PDF file
- Find the records that you want to view. See Searching.
- Display the layout and view that you want to use.
- Tap , then tap Print .
- Choose print setup options for creating the PDF.
- Tap PDF, then tap View.
The records are displayed as a PDF file.
- Tap Done to close the PDF file. If you don't see the Done button, tap the screen.
Email records as a PDF file
- Find the records that you want to email. See Searching.
- Display the layout and view that you want to use.
- Tap , then tap Print .
- Choose print setup options for creating the PDF.
- Tap PDF, then tap Email.
- Compose the message, then tap Send.
Save records to a PDF file
- Find the records that you want to save. See Searching.
- Display the layout and view that you want to use.
- Tap , then tap Print .
- Choose print setup options for creating the PDF.
- Tap PDF, then tap Save.
FileMaker Go uses the name of the window for the PDF file. The PDF file appears in the Device list in the Launch Center window.

Print a PDF file
These instructions assume that you've set up your printer to work with your device.
- View records as a PDF file or open a saved PDF file.
- Tap , then tap Print. If you don't see , tap the screen.
- Choose printer options, then tap Print.
