Text editing keyboard shortcuts (Mac OS)

You can use these keyboard shortcuts to edit field and layout text and to work with find requests.

Copy all text in a record	-C with no objects selected	Browse
Copy all records in the found set to the Clipboard in text form	-Option-C with no objects selected	Browse
Cut selected text	-X	Browse, Find, Layout
Paste	-V	Browse, Find, Layout
Paste text only	-Shift-Option-V	Browse, Find, Layout
Undo	-Z	Browse, Find, Layout
Redo	-Y or -Shift-Z	Browse, Find, Layout
Exit text edit mode	Enter (numeric keypad)	All
Find/replace data	-Shift-F	Browse, Find, Layout
Find the next occurrence of the specified data	-G	Browse, Find, Layout
Reverse the current direction of a Find Again operation	-Shift-G	Browse, Find, Layout
Replace the Find what data with the Replace with data, then search for and select the next occurrence	-Option-G	Browse, Find, Layout
Reverse the current direction of a Replace & Find Again operation	-Shift-Option-G	Browse, Find, Layout
Find the next occurrence of the selected data in the database	-Option-I	Browse, Find, Layout
Reverse the current direction of a Find Selected operation	-Shift- Option-I	Browse, Find, Layout
Insert a non-breaking space	Option-Space bar	Browse, Layout
Insert a tab in a field or move the insertion point to the next tab stop	Option-Tab	Browse, Layout
Open the Spelling dialog box when alerted of a misspelled word (A Check spelling as you type file option must be enabled. For more information, see Setting file options.)	-Shift-Y	Browse, Layout

Note  If the current Find/Replace direction is Forward or All, the reverse keyboard shortcut switches the direction to Backward. If the current Find/Replace direction is Backward, the reverse keyboard shortcut switches the direction to Forward.
