Purpose 
Returns the path to the desktop folder for the current user.

Description 
In Windows, the path format is /Drive:/Documents and Settings/UserName/Desktop/.
In the Mac OS, the path format is /DriveName/Users/UserName/Desktop/.

Examples 
Returns /C:/Documents and Settings/John Smith/Desktop/ for a user named John Smith in Windows.
