Save a Copy as
Purpose 
Saves a copy of the current file.

Options 
Specify output file allows you to specify the name and location of the resulting copy. For more information, see Creating file paths. If you do not specify a file, FileMaker Pro saves a copy of the current file and displays the Save As dialog box so the user can specify copying options. You can choose to Automatically open file or Create email with file as attachment after saving.
copy saves a complete copy of the current file.
compacted saves a compacted copy of the current file.
clone saves a copy of the file without any records.
self-contained saves a copy of the file with all container content embedded in the file.

Description 
Use this script step to back up your file.
Notes
This script step is not supported in FileMaker Pro database files hosted by FileMaker Server.
For files used in FileMaker Go, choose self-contained. Container objects will be embedded in the copy.
