Moving and resizing tab controls
You can move, resize, and reshape tab controls.
To move a tab control and all objects on it:

In Layout mode, drag the tab control to the new location.

To resize or reshape a tab control:

Drag a selection handle to change the tab control’s size or shape.
Note  The size or shape of the objects in the tab control don’t change, unless the objects have been selected.

If you move a tab control over another layout object, the object becomes part of the front panel of the tab control if you then select the tab control and choose Arrange menu > Send to Back. To remove the object from the tab control, drag the object off the tab control.

If you make a tab control smaller, tab panels may become hidden from view. Either resize the tab control or change the size of the text on the tabs to fit the tab control’s new size.

If an object no longer fits within a resized tab panel, the object is removed from the tab control and becomes part of the layout. Resize the object or the tab control, then drag the object back into the tab control. For more information, see Formatting tab controls.

When you resize a tab control, a gray rectangular outline appears within the tab control so that you can see how much space there is between the objects and the edges of the tab control.
